A yoga practice workshop to focus on your foundation. Is your pelvis overachieving, underachieving or well-balanced?
Injury, childbirth and aging all can contribute to a lack of tone and sense of instability right where we need to be connected the most – the pelvis.
Blending western and eastern approaches, this workshop promotes the yoga approach to the health of the pelvis as a way of supporting the health of the whole person. Yoga offers a brilliant remedy through cultivating awareness of bandhas. We'll combine movement practice with some anatomy and awareness instructions to help you understand your pelvic floor. Poses will help you learn to balance the activation and release of the pelvic muscles.
This workshop is open to the public. No prior yoga experience necessary.
